Our cat sits in spouse’s chair. When spouse first did what Earl’s doing, the cat became a cushion. She still’s reluctant to move, but when the butt starts down, the cat leaves.

Time to invest in a divorce attorney.

So we’ve come to the “taking sides” phase of the relationship….

My beloved doxy at about 8PM every night leaves my wife’s lap and at the first opportunity takes my chair. Not sure how it all started. It’s a simple ritual whose history is lost. Of course it’s a fun thing.

My dog does that, I just move him over and sit next to him!

Okay, that’s just mean. Sometimes I have to wonder if they are really in love.

It is a conspiracy between all animals to steal our chairs.

We solved that problem by buying our cat her own chair.

Two words… Doggie treats. Put a snausage to Roscoe’s nose, then toss it on the floor, problem solved. Or two other words, Bath time.

Just sit down, he’ll ether move or become a pillow.

Opal is down right obstinate!

My two dogs have their own recliner. Just for them.

Like they say, if you want the best seat in the house, you have to move the dog…unless he is a Mastiff or Great Dane. Then YOU move.

Is that the chair Opal put the casters on?

I don’t see a problem here. Pick up dog, sit in chair, set dog on lap. If dog doesn’t like it, he’ll hop down & go elsewhere. Works with cats too!

Hmm. Opal has repeatedly demonstrated that she hates Roscoe. Now she’s offering him advice against Earl. Yup. Another example of Opal’s cruelty to her husband.

Our dogs were 95 pounds (Alex and Brandy) so when we went to sit they got down and got up on the couch…however, when we weren’t on them they were very comfy by themselves. Brandy took daddy’s chair and Alex took mine. They also laid on the couch and love seat and slept with us in our CalKing size bed.

If you want the best seat in the house, you’ll have to move the dog.

Earl walked right into that one.
