Good luck if it dies getting a replacement. I had a fridge that went out and had a rough time getting a new one delivered. Even tried a repair guy, the fridge parts were obsolete. Delivery staff was cut way back and they would only drop it on the front porch. Finally convinced the manager that as a senior, I needed the old fridge removed and new one installed inside. I would lock myself away after disinfecting the route to the kitchen and around the kitchen. That was agreeable. Took almost two weeks of eating out from the chest freezer in the garage and lots of microwave defrosting, but it finally happened. Just a heads up of what you may encounter.
On the other hand, it may surprise homeowners to find there are things they can take care of with a online research, a few hand tools, and a little effort. If one is unable to perform one’s usual daily work routine from home but must remain there, isolation could be time to take a look at small things that need correcting but that have been put off due to work stoppage. After all, one’s largest investment is one’s home, and most have one or two small things that have been put off until the one of these days I’m gonna . . . arrives. Well, one can sit and moan about being idle or decide today I’m gonna . . . and shorten the to-do list one item at a time.
We have had contractors to the house. We’ve stretched the project out so there were days’ gaps between when the contractors were on site. This kept the numbers down and we had them “under control.” They were limited to the space where the work was being done and only one access route. We insisted on masks an gloves and cleaned thoroughly after they left.

My dishwasher calved after 22 years. No problem getting a new one, but I installed it myself.
