Oof. Way to go Miles.

That may have be in response to Dad’s forgetting Mile’s birthday last time. Or, it might be because of the “beer incident.”

Choose rich and famous, if you can, Miles.

“I brought you into this world. I’ll take you out of it.” – Happy Fathers’ Day from every father, ever!

Choose a career where you don’t have to blame others if you fail.

Oh dear.

I would say dad is successful, he has provided a home for his spouse and children and is present in their lives. Despite what Miles said he is also rich for having them in his life. Miles will eventually come to that realization just as he will probably come to appreciate the responsibilities that are attached to the pleasures of fatherhood.

This is why I check this strip every day even though it’s normally a 3 day a week strip (Mon-Wed-Fri). Today is an extra.

So many kids grow up without a father in their lives – the little fellah doesn’t appreciate it now but maybe some day…
