When a self-indulgent divorced guy contemplates remarriage, he could eliminate the middlemen & save a great deal of money if he would simply buy a house & give it to a woman he hates.
Alimony is a disgrace. It denigrates women by indicating we are not able to take care of ourselves. It cheats men by allowing predatory women legally rob them. Child support, yes; Spousal support, no.
