Zonker must’ve given Mike the extra powerful stuff before Mike started his midsummer dream.
“We’ve got crises enough right here at home!”
I thought the weekday strips were from years ago.
Mike is Jared’s role model.
Given the extent of voter suppression in the US, this not funny.
“What’s all this about ‘one man, one vote’?” asked the Nottingham miner.

To those who question it…. this strip is from late August, 1994.
War in Bosnia… yesterday’s strip referenced the genocide trials in Sarajevo… also troubles in Haiti…
Today, setting up democratic voting during/after massacres in Rwanda…
(Remember, Mike’s dream has him saving the world).
But, as Roseanne Roseannadanna said, a dozen or so years before that… … “It’s always something.”
At least the president calling Mike is Bill Clinton.
Poor world… you hadn’t seen nothin’ yet.
“I’d like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony…” It looks like we haven’t made all that much progress. Sad.
The combined weight of tiny,Barr, and Pompeo. This is what gluttons for food, and power look like ;(
If only it were that easy as in the last panel. Time to go to work, folks.
If Mike could have stayed longer, maybe Romeo Dallaire would not have ended up with PTSD.
That last panel is surprisingly racist, even for 1994.
Surprisingly this has reminded me of the value of daydreaming.
