The day after yesterday and the day before tomorrow.

Alexa was lost in thought?

My son thought that I had broken his Alexa. I had asked her to play a song by Major Lance; and in her usual fashion she was repeating the song title as he entered the room to hear Alexa saying, “Um um um um um um.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g02WmLzozs8

Is Alexa working from home these days?

I have a clock that tells me the day of the week, if I lose track.

In our house, Alexa would have all the function of a wind-up wrist sundial. If we ever had one for any reason, future archeologists would find it ossified in the mess in my garage.

Alexa must be retired.

There’s something very sad expressed in this cartoon, and it’s not the box of wires.

I hear the garbage man it’s Thursday. No, Memorial Day was this week, it’s Friday.

The full date and time are on my monitor’s screen. I park it in the upper right-hand corner.

I have to look at my smart watch, and if I forget, a local TV station has a feature that Asks , “What Day Is It?” and then tells you, with a fanfare.

Alexa, please ask Siri what day today is.

I know how you feel, Alexa.

She’s staying off the internet, she might get a virus.
