Gad! Millenials! Not only will they never know how to tie shoes or read an analog clock, they’ve probably never wrapped a gift in their lives! Gift bags are for lazy people.
Saw a credit card commercial recently that looked like the writers took all of Mr. Parisi’s cartoons about troublesome co-workers (dogs, cats, kids, etc.) at home. He should get some royalties.
I seldom wrap anymore although I do still have some wrapping paper. You can tell the age by the quality of the paper, the new stuff is hard to work with because it tears so easily. I almost always use gift bags, they are easy to use and reusable. I am all for reusable. I think we all create too much trash with everything disposable so I go with reusable whenever I can. Now I hear people are leaving their disposable masks in parking lots. Really? I just can’t understand that mentality.

For a cat, a box itself is a gift.

Then again, there’s always the amazing Japanese fabric gift wrapping technique called Furoshiki. Truly awe-inspiring.
