Charlie Brown is standing in front of a large clock looking sad. <br> <br> Charlie Brown walks through the play ground carrying his lunch bag as he gives out a big, "SIGH!" <br> <br> Charlie Brown walks up to a bench and touch's it while saying, "I don't think I'd mind school at all if it weren't for these lunch hours... I guess i'll sit on this bench..." <br> <br> Looking sad, Charlie Brown sits down and hold his lunch bag in his lap while saying, "I have to sit by myself because nobody else ever invites me to sit with them..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown puts his lunch bag beside him and looks at his sandwich with a frown and says, "Peanut Butter again! Oh, Well, Mom does her best..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown starts to eat his sandwich while saying, "Those kids look like they're having a lot of fun...I wish they liked me...Nobody likes me..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown stop eating and looks at the bench and says, "The PTA did a good job painting these benches..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown puts both his hands down on the bench while looking at the reader and says, "I'd give anything in the world if that little girl with the red hair would come over, and sit with me.." <br> <br> Charlie Brown pick up his bag and looks to the right saying, "I get tired of always being alone,,,I wish the bell would ring..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown puts his bag back down and is now holding a Banana, he says "A banana...Rats! Mom always... still, I guess she means well..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown is eating his banana, then says, "I bet I could run just as fast as those kids.. That's a good game they're playing..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown has finished his lunch and is watching the others as he says with a smile on his face, "That little girl with the red hair is a good runner..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown says as he reaches for his lunch bag and is looking right, "Ah, there's the bell! One more lunch hour out of the way..." <br> <br> Charlie Brown gets up holding his crumpled lunch bag with a and walks from the bench saying with a frown, "Two-Thousand, one-hundred and twenty to go!" <br> <br>

This is one of my favorite strips. So sad but also sweet and nice…
