Time for a better lock on the apartment door – one that Heart can’t open!

(Heart doesn’t care about the stars because she’s never seen them. You can’t miss what you’ve never had…)

Ever look up at the sky in northern New Mexico on a clear night? You forget to breathe.

Thankfully, we can still see stars here. Mostly in Winter though. Dean would probably say we can see a star when the clouds are gone, since the sun is a star as well.

I love the night sky when we’re at the beach.

if you want to see the sunrise, sunset, or the stars, go out to sea, away from land.

SCAATY – Clear nights in Northern New Mexico are becoming rare. There’s too many people living out in what used to be the boonies, and Santa Fe and vicinity have gotten so big, light pollution is becoming a problem. On a good night, though, the night skies are like nowhere else I’ve been on Earth.
