It’s not very smart of Fifth to bring a cop along with him to the scene of a crime in progress. Unless, of course, if he’s already decided to kill her.
It’s going to be interesting to see what happens to Ed. Shot by the Fifth? Caught by some advanced security system designed by Diet Smith? Or will he open the wrong box and get zapped by some other, dangerous item Smith stashed in his warehouse?
I doubt the warehouse has a lethal defense system; Smith doesn’t seem bloodthirsty, and such boobytraps are illegal. I’m rooting for a properly ironic hi-tech death.
HEY FIFTH, You are at Diet Smith’s, CAN’T YOU READ!
Ed may be smart, defiantly smarter then his new “friends”.
But, I doubt he’s smart enough. I doubt Fifth’s federal immunity is gonna cover this little crime wave. At least, not all of it….
What’s wrong with Flyface today? Is he suffering from Alzheimer’s? He was just as involved in Lizz’s kidnapping and planned murder back in 1960 as the Fifth was. He’s apparently repressed all those memories.
Way back in the day, Lizz threw Halfa Millyuns out of a window. Willie the Fifth and Flyface captured Lizz and put her on a rooftop with a giant magnifying glass over her to kill her. Of course she escaped and then it was Tracy after them.
You’d expect Smith’s warehouse to have some kind of security measures. How did Ed subvert them?

Bill T.: Why, Ed has the Golden Key, of course. ;)

The “key Ed is using is probably along the lines of this.:

My guess is that it is a low security warehouse, which is why Ed had the package shipped there. He probably nabbed the security guard schedule, or used some method to mess it up, so that he would know when the area wasn’t being observed or monitored.

In panel one I like the scene of Ed holding his nose standing next to Flyface and the look on his face is priceless!

first panel has a nice touch with ed holding his nose after a whiff of flyface.

I don’t think anyone has mentioned a real life reason for Flyface to smell so bad, other than bad hygiene. There is an actual genetic condition that could be the cause. Find out more here:
tcayer, I don’t think the Fifth gave Lizz a round-trip ticket. On the other hand, he should realize that Lizz doesn’t need to run anywhere to kick his kiester.

“No shoes means she wont run far.” Oh yeah smart thinking Fifth. Lizz is smarter and tougher than theses cream-puffs.

I watched a few videos of newscasts with real people suffering from this. Their life must be a living um.. err… really hot place. (grin)

Curtis and Staton Have brought an interesting new dimension to the Flyface character -
The reaction by other characters tell you he really SMELLS.
The inword now seem to be “stench”!

All Liz(z) needs to do is drop her robe and as they are stunned, disarm them! In color!
