Very provocative that the dominant color in today’s strip is orange. I predict angry e-mails, which will cause GoComics to again scold Teresa.

St Patrick is famous for having persecuted the Druids.

When people ask me “what am I”, I say American.

Man it’s nice to celebrate today.

A great grandmother was O’Connor. Another was O’Conner.Life is tough for a lad of mixed ethnic background. Should I wear a green hat with orange polka dots? Do I bomb the Catholic or Episcopalian church?

“If you’re lucky enough to be Irish, you’re lucky enough.” Since I’m Irish only an March 17, I guess this is my lucky day.

I’ve seen comb-overs, but that looks like a “comb-down.” In fact, his hair just looks like a comb!

I’m with ya. I’m of Irish decent, but St. Patty’s Day often brings out themes and ideas that don’t make me so proud to be Irish.

Of diluted Irish descent myself, I still don’t know why we celebrate St. Pat’s and not “Ethiopia Day” or “Polish Day” or any of the other myriad nationalities that have gone into our melting pot. What makes being Irish so special?

Blog: I love Tina Turner, she reminds me of a lioness at times. Too bad Ike was such a schmuck. But, perhaps she wouldn’t be who she is today if he had been a stand up guy.

As for the logo turning green, I hope you don’t mean green as in sick.
