When my wife and I are at the beach, we watch the pelicans dive for fish. They cruise around at an altitude of about 50-100 feet, spot a fish, fold their wings and dive in, hitting the water at about 30 mph (or maybe more) and submerge for several seconds before resurfacing, float for a while and take off again.

We have yet to build an aircraft that can do this.

Sort of an abrupt way to realize the food chain is brutal.

People “noodle” by having catfish bite onto their hands… It’s not a good idea to use your head for this.
