Farley is sweating and puking, apparently. Good times.

Another seed as been planted (spoilers)

I’ll bet Farley is dog-tired! He’s looking pretty ruff!

Seems as if Elizabeth would have enjoyed the farm more than Michael.

Gross and Disgusting is just what the dog-tor ordered.

Yeah. Alex, from Stone Soup would just love this place. Too bad this is the last week of that strip.

Lynn’s Comments:

There were leeches in Harrison’s pond. This we discovered after a frog hunting expedition. Leeches are strange creatures and super interesting to look at…unless they are stuck to your legs.

Farley has just discovered the corpse.

Looks more like Harrison’s swamp! ;o[

Still lots of time before the tragedy.

Wait until someone has to bathe Farley.

This reminds me of myself when I was a kid. I love how Liz is allowed to enjoy getting dirty and playing in the bog! Reminds me so much of my childhood. So many don’t realise that most girls love muck as much as anyone. Except the dog. They love it even more. And will you ever get that muck out of that long dog fur? I had a dog with long fur (a samoyed) at that age and would take him to the local “forest” and he would always go into any water. And I’m sure he would stink after, but when you’re 10, you don’t even notice <3

That said, Liz’s shorts are unusually awkward-looking amidst what is usually fabulous drawing from Lynn! Dawn looks amazing, and Farley and the “pond”.

I suspect Elizabeth will be told to wash the dog and then herself when she gets home. If there are leeches, then she’ll learn the hard way how to get them off. It will be a good laugh once she is older.

Guess who’s getting a bath when he gets home?

Kids can’t do things like that nowadays. I used to play in Hobo Jungle next to railroad tracks down the street from my house in the 50’s.

I hope those aren’t their good shoes and clothes.
