Now he’s becoming a fire hazard.

It would appear someone’s made an ash out of him.

I’d say it was the fag end of the day but I understand it means something else over the pond.

Clarence Darrow famously (and perhaps apocryphally) inserted a wire into his cigar and puffed on it, creating a long long ash, during the closing arguments from the other side. The story is that the jury members were so entranced at the growing-but-not-falling ash that they couldn’t pay attention to what they were hearing.

I knew he’d make an ash of himself at some point!

Just want to add that in FL, after a certain age (read over 65 or so) you are no longer eligible to be on a jury.

I wonder if its better to melt down or burn out? Either way, it is not looking good for the defense team.

Hate this story arc. And I’ve never smoked. Trudeau needs to get off his soapbox.
