    That’s called a mondegreen from a miss heard song that was “They laid him on the green” heard as “Lady Mondegreen” Now all those “a chicken to ride” “a bathroom on the right” etc. are called modegreens.

    Chris Isaak’s ‘San Francisco Days’ is a good album but his standout album, as I suspect most of his fans will attest, is ‘Forever Blue.’
