It’s true that there are several bodies on Mt. Everest. I watched a documentary recently on the National Geographic channel about an expedition to Everest to try to find the body of Andrew Irvine. He was one of the members of 1924 British Mount Everest expedition. They were hoping he had the camera used on the expedition. If the camera was found they thought they may be able to recover the film and develop it to determine if he and George Mallory had actually reached the summit in 1924. Mallory’s body was found in 1999 and he didn’t have the camera. They didn’t find the body of Irvine. During the documentary they showed some of the other bodies that lie on the mountain.
Normally I don’t see the fourth panel. GoComics must have changed something because I see it today. The change doesn’t appear to affect any past Sundays though…
Actually, because the weather atop Everest can be so difficult, the few days that are “safe” have so many people trying to get to the top that they have to wait in line on the mountain. Then they only have time for a quick picture and then make way for the next person. There may be hundreds of people waiting in line to set foot on the peak.

A Bloody Mary without the vodka is called either a Virgin Mary or a Bloody Shame.

I thought bloody Mary was named after a bloodthirsty fanatic religious queen of England who burned hundreds and hundreds of protestants at stake.

I find it much more incredible that a bar named “Bucket of Blood” actually had customers!

Probably best not to research the many things ancient Romans ate or used for medicinal purposes. Kinda gross.

Shouldn’t the second one be called a ‘wobniar’?

We get a lot of Double Rainbows around here. I never noticed the reversed colors. Now I’m going to be looking for it.

New format? I don’t know about naming the Bloody Mary but a Virgin Mary is the same drink sans alchohol.

I heard about the Everest body thing on Adam Ruins Everything, but that’s pretty freaking messed up if you ask me.
