Gosh I need a dictionary. Over fifty years old and I always thought the few times I heard that word in old 30’s movies (nobody I know says that word in real life) that a lollygag was somebody who doesn’t like lollipops?

My father loved that word. You don’t hear it as much today but I think it is making a come-back!

Trivia I learned yesterday: “lollipop” is a word we adapted from Romany (“gypsies” for the geezers who didn’t keep up with the name changes… I remember when they were just the Rom) from something that meant an apple on a stick. Now, for something of actual interest….
