Gorgo was a British answer to Godzilla, and similarly sized. Seeing Frankenstein lead Gorgo around on a leash, meanwhile, brings to mind the Japanese film, “Frankenstein Conquers the World,” in which a descendant of Frankenstein’s monster grows to giant size and tangles with giant monster.
I have to wonder whether this product was properly licensed? Several of the monsters listed would have been in the public domain, I think, but the ones that weren’t in the public domain were probably owned by several different companies.

I hate to send all you bleeding heart, Bush-Cheney-Palin-Scott Walker hating, eat-your-spinach, good governments types into a spittle emitting rage, but I’m a Republican.
Why am I telling you this? Because I was at the GOP national convention in Detroit in 1980. I stepped into an empty elevator on one of the top floors of the Renaissance Hotel one morning, headed down. I heard a female voice from down the hall ask me to hold the door. I did. In stepped Elizabeth Taylor (she was married to Sen. John Warner at the time).
She was still take-your-breath-away beautiful then, with intense violet eyes to die for and a tiny little waist.
So, anyway, my 15 minutes of fame lasted about 15 seconds. Then we nominated Ronald Reagan and the rest, as they say, is history.
True. The only reason I’m still not apologizing for my Obama vote in 2008 is that Palin would have been one heartbeat away from the presidency. If McCain nad only chosen anyone else…
