It seems like we don’t see comic strip crossovers, mashups, and parodies as much as we did a few years ago. “Lio” and “Pearls” did it more than any others I read, but some others also would do it occasionally. (Of course, nobody will ever beat the legendary “Sam’s Strip” for comic strip characters appearing out of their own strips!) Just yesterday I was wishing we could see a meeting of the sons of Pirate Mike and Hagar the Horrible……..

i think it is a take on Family Circus. the comic was always done within a circle and there were also the 4 kids!

The current cartoonist for F.C., Jeff (Jeffy) Keane, youngest son of Bil has grandchildren..

They can’t stand being together, yet they’re walking together.

Let us all rejoice! The nasty Family Circus gang are finally outta here! Nobody go after them, nobody bring them back, nobody let then re-enter the Circle!
