We people today read more into that “we the people phrase” than I think the founding aristocrats understood or intended it to encompass. They and their property owning friends were “the people” who they meant.
Maine factory making critical testing swabs had to slow production and then throw out any swabs made when Trump was touring the factory because he refuses to wear a mask. When I posted this on Facebook, my Trumpette relative posted a laughing emoji. WTH is wrong with his followers?
“It is not without sadness that we shall bid adieu to the Constitution of 1875. It made France a free country. It died less from its imperfections than from the fault of men who were charged with guarding it and making it work.”….. from the last speech of French Senator Boivin-Champeaux in 1940, as the French national legislature threw out their Constitution and set up a totalitarian regime under German collaborator Marshal Petain and intriguer Pierre Laval. . . . . Will one of our own senators include a similar statement in a speech in D.C. a few years from now?
Since the cheeto was in charge I’ve never seen two people more alike than the cheeto and Maduro, the guy fron Venezuela. About 20 years ago Venezuela wasn’t a s*t hole. By then Venezuela was an average country and people had a good way of life with some of the cheapest gas in rhe world. There was poverty as thereisbbe is in every part of the world, yet poor people received help from the government to cover their basic needs as it happens in USA and other countries. When the government decided to remove subsidy from gas prices poor people saw an oportunity to ‘rise’ agaist injustice and inequality. They had a decent way of life but the real reason was envy, and also than the rich people were douchebags … getting too long and kind if annoying to type in a phone, will continue later

Hopefully, U.S. voters will agree in November! His Senate bootlickers ( there are many other distasteful terms ) must also be voted out!

Ok, who wants to bet when he is done in office he will say “I did all that stuff to see how far I could go!”

Who you kidding Nick? Those were the first words out of his mouth right after he lied his way through the oath of office.

He hasn’t “fired” the Constitution, but he has totally ignored, or in effect destroyed it and the laws implementing it.
