GOD gave you brains to make parachutes, so use them.

Not everyone putting their faith in god is getting infected, but two weeks ago there was a cluster in Eastern Oregon, 234 of 365 people in one congregation.

The cemeteries are full of hard-praying people – of all religions.

This could apply to virus mask wearing. Many people are evidently living on faith as they’ve stopped wearing masks. Too bad they don’t have love for others to add to their faith. We show our caring for others by wearing the mask.

I once saw a sign outside a church: Honk if you love Jesus, Text while driving if you want to see him today

Every time I hear or see these people who want to pack their churches again, or get into crowds because, “God will protect us,” I want to remind them, “You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.”

I’ve always felt that the most devout were those Christian fundamentalist sects who would tragically pray for their child instead of taking them to see a doctor. Faith repudiating science. Denying science in other parts of people’s lives yet choosing it when it serves them seems disingenuous.

If I believed in God, I would certainly believe that it would be against His will not to use the brains He gave me.

Yeah, ask that Virginia evangelical pastor how that worked out for him. Oh, wait, you can’t. He’s dead.
