Some folks just aren’t able to multitask. In my case I will often walk away from the more important task because I can always find another that is easier to see progress on.

Interesting: They aren’t actually all that good at falling them where they want ’em. But no matter where they land, the cambium layer gets chewed.

But that’s exactly what beavers do; they chew part way through the trunk (a little more than shown) and let the wind do the rest.
