    Not all expressions are visual. The almost clichéd phrase “freedom of expression” should spring to everyone’s mind. Expressions can be vocal, written, and/or visual. Phoebe’s creator probably meant to write “facial” expression. Most readers understood what Ms Simpson meant, but, had she written “I ain’t got no money,” we’d have understood that, too. Is it burdensome to ask writers to avoid ambiguity?
