    Same reason there is no such thing as a service cat for the blind, rescue cats or fire department cats riding along. They would be terrible at the job. I have heard of comfort cats before, but if one of those start hanging around, time to make out one’s will.

    Cats are creatures far too peaceable and good-natured to ever associate with a cop.

    A dog’s desperate need for acceptance makes it pliable enough to reflect the violent disposition of a human.

    That’s why there’s no such thing as a police cat.
