What happened?
That doesn’t look alien to me!
Time to learn semaphores?
Boat captain and his wife keep all those cans and strings on his shelf. They call collect.
Zing! Zip! Great sound effects!
It’s a lot of string, but they could have done it. With a boat…and a ladder…and some help.
Cool, but not practical.
Welp gotta go back to the boring walkie-talkies!
I wonder if Amelia is on the sailboat.
And shortly thereafter, wireless communication was born.
I just want to say that either spud or Wallace have a ridiculously good arm because somebody has to toss the other can to the other side.
Wow! So funny!
Now that’s one very long piece of string.
Sheep!
Dang those aliens! They always cut the communication first!
The batteries must have died in the walkie-talkies. That’s from leaving them on all night.
That’s one long piece of string!
Spud may never recover.
I would love to see how that looong string was carried/launched? over to Spud’s house!!
Ahhh. So THAT’S where Spud lives. Across the water.
I tried this with my cell phone, but my buddy and I couldn’t get it to work. Maybe we used the wrong kind of string?
I never had a tin can telephone. We had a pair of walkie talkies that worked well if you were 10 feet apart. I also had a telegraph set connected with wire.
An alien sailboat!
all inventions are updated over time. guess it’s time for that update already.
Om mai gawd wher r u Spud?
