I would love to see the ghost panel between 3 and 4.

A little good news – both house wren nests have successfully fledged their young, and one pair is building a second nest! First time in 3 years they have nested in the yard, although I hear them in the neighborhood. Coming back from our walk last evening Freddog didn’t see the 3 coyotes run across the meadow into the trees but he sure smelled them when we passed where they had crossed.

Career? Ill give you a career. Try the career inside the broom closet for a new direction.

Every once in a while I turn on my rront porch Ring camera and saw a bird flying right at me. I know there is a nest up in the awning somewhere, but this is the first time I actually “saw” a bird there.

We humans don’t deserve the loyalty of our feline friends. We had a woman in the neighborhood who had 15 (or more) dogs and one black cat in her house. You can’t imagine the stench that the house gave off! One day the animal control people came and loaded the dogs into their vans. The police “rescued” the woman and we never saw or heard about her again. Meanwhile, the cat evaded “rescue” by climbing up on the roof of the house and scampering away to safety. That was 9 months ago. The house is unsellable. The black cat comes back to the porch every day to see if it’s human woman has come home. He can often be seen sleeping on the porch. What a loyal cat!

Hey, what cats do when they are not at home is their own business. If you’re lucky they will bring you a present; if you are really lucky, it will already be dead.
