Lesson #1: “No good deed goes unpunished.”

Lesson #2: “If anything can go wrong, it will.”

Lesson #3: “If anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway.”

Lesson #4: “If everything seems to be going well, then you have overlooked something.”

Remember, if you’re a senior citizen and have health issues, then you should get Life Alert.

Not quite the phone implanted in your head, but close. Can’t remember the first movie that had the idea in it.

I wonder if she has ever bought genuine imported faux pearls.

Marcy seems like a pretty good human being, all-around.

You scoff, Marcy’s mother, but if something happens you’ll be glad you have that necklace.

Mom showed her. Mother is not ready yet. It is good that Marcy is thinking ahead but you need to ask the parent first to see their thoughts on the subject. Good communication can open the door to understanding both sides.

Now mom will just talk into the necklace all the time. For my mom she had no problem with phone calls, every minute she got that lonesome. When I was with her calmed down. All I have is memories now.

Depends on how old her mother is. When I would have children of about the age Marcy does – mom would have been in her 50s – well able to take care of herself. Also with cell phones – phone can be kept so the phone number of a family member is showing and can be dialed by pushing power on, then dial phone number in 2 button pushes.

I am in my 60s now and do not need a button device now any more than I did in my 20s, 30s, 40s, or 50s. Now my husband on the other hand – he relatively often feels ill and needs help and if I was not with him all the time he might need something like this – or to keep his cell phone set as I mentioned.
