Did that once, sort of, I dug a hole for a pond insert about 2 1/2" deep and 4’ wide. The ground was muddy and slippery it took me awhile to get out, LOL!
Louis L’Amour once pointed out that a man under a blanket with a little bit of dirt on it could avoid detection even though in plain sight. Probably not a neon blanket but one of more earth tones might work.
Me and a buddy actually did this once. What we did was just dig some dirt out of the side of the trench and started making dirt stairs. Took awhile, it turned out bigger than it was supposed too….but we fixed it so nobody knew.

Let’s hope the Stormtrooper isn’t smart enough to fill in the hole.

Ask Tarzan about digging pit traps … they’re his speciality.

“So, Rockit, I now have you in my clutches!”
“Not yet you don’t. Throw your clutches down here so I can grab them…”

So you can’t outrun a guy in a full body armor suit?

I’ll give Brewster a “B-” for his plan and a “F” for execution.
