Playing with Army men is like bowling. You set them up only to knock them down. Satisfaction comes from the process.

Kitchen table, a box of army men and a bag of rubber bands

    Good times

Mom let us do it as long as everything was long gone by dinner time

I never had any of those. The rules were too arbitrary.

Mom took them away, when I let France invade Prussia, and didn’t let Austria play.

No power cords to trip them, no batteries to wear out; alert the media!

    Victory! is ours again.

We are the scourge of the land and sea.

    Beastly pirates are we."

Notice how the youngest Bucket never changes? His friends look normal, but HIS head is like a bowling ball, with seven hairs, huge ears, and his eyes are ALWAYS the size of cue balls.

    speaks loudly

We go into battle to reclaim our lives. This, we do gladly, for we are Jem’Hadar. Remember – victory is life!"

I used to play with friends where we would decide on a chosen path and then one of us would go hide the army men in the path. If you walked in the path to where you should have been able to see the army man and didn’t play shoot it, you were play dead.
