Maybe longer trips out have something to do with the modern television age we live in. Take for example the TV show ‘I Love Lucy’. When the Ricardos and the Mertzes went on the trip from NYC to California for Ricky’s movie starring, it took them over two weeks of episodes to drive in a car to California! Hey it even took them an entire episode to pack the car right! But when the trip was over and they returned home to NYC it only took them 1 episode aboard a train – and they were back home!
I love this comic since Olivia James took over. I just love it. Today’s made me laugh aloud, and they do more often than not. I think it’s the smartest strip running currently in the way it plays with the genre. <3
