@Number Three Today’s strip Is Funny and worthy of the Master , having our HERO Mr Andrew Capp as a witness Eric needs more than just the Vicar’s prayers :o) , my avatar is of a kid wanting to appeal to a higher authority grandma which somehow reminds me of bev , Connie would sometimes like to overturn one of Timmy’s time -outs but she would miff Alex off , how was your day out in the sun? our Manic Monday should be hectic as our Monday’ usually are plus having the whole plumbing in progress , waiting for the local council to come pick up a dish-washing machine and try not to get on each other’s nerves , but we should cope I hope take care and BCNU pal
Is anybody else having trouble staying signed in??I’ve had to sign in eight times since 8:00 last nite.I know Gary Larson is a big wheel at Go Comics, but is anyone else tired of his ad popping up and covering the comic being read?
I haven’t been out today. Just stayed in. Hope you’ve been doing great, pal. I’m meeting up with the guy from my school again on Friday. It’s good to be able to go out to meet friends. However I must admit that I broke the social distancing rule last time I saw him because before we left, we gave each other a hug.
I was surprised to see that I wasn’t “shamed” on Facebook in my local area group because some people on there are nothing but “wannabe police” who love to publicly shame people for breaking the guidelines. It’s not like I went to a crowded beach or took part in a riot.
An old “Wizard of Id” cartoon had a defendant being told he would be judged by a “jury of his peers.” He replied, “Oh, no, THIS kid won’t be judged by a bunch of thieves!”

The judge will take one look at who Eric has as a witness, and let him off with a stern warning – to find a better class of friends.

[Andy does his bit as character witness for Eric]
[sentencing statement from the judge] I greatly regret that England has abolished hanging…

This bit of the courthouse looks remarkably like the entrance to the pub.
