That sound familiar! Tomorrow is a good example. I need to get on the city bus. Two buses to get to one location… and a super long walk. Back to the bus stop… and two more buses to get to a store that is the only one that has what I need. About this time the heat should be cooking me. Lunch is a nightmare in this quarantine! Two more buses to get home. I expect the next day… I will be sound asleep. Well… except the occasional reach for pain relief!
Living in the city, as we do, we don’t own a car and either walk everywhere, take the bus, or a taxi (if we have lots of groceries to carry). Because of the pandemic, the buses don’t run as frequently so we take shank’s mare. It is nothing for us to walk 8-10 kilometers ( 4-6 miles ) a day, without realizing it!
Yeah; my doctor wants me to walk 1.5 miles per day when I sometimes fall down after a few steps but doesn’t seem to understand that with pain management I might somehow be able to do it. Well, that’s typical of the VA really. If it costs the government, you don’t get help.

I could barely walk for three days after the first weekend I spent re-enacting World War II. But, it was definitely worth it.

He does the same exercise she does, the 12 oz. curl… at least twelve repetitions per session!
