Leave the music on Dear. Fred finds it very soothing.

To calm your pet while you’re away for a few hours, leave the radio on… I found that the cat was less stressed out when I left it on, especially on a station that has more “talk”… ;-)

Don’t most people leave on the radio for their pet, if the pet will be home alone for a good while? I do.

Always appreciated classical music being played by local PBS FM station at some cat & dog shelters. Care takers said it seemed to calm the animals!

My friend took in a stray dog. Washing her truck, while listening to the Country Western station. The dog started pacing and dancing back and forth. The former owner must have liked C & W.

Leave it on. It calms the pet and gives the impression that someone may be at home.
