Well that is a bad idea in so many ways. I have lost many good things when “friends” took them to “teach me a lesson” and then “forgot” to give them back.

I thought this was a different later Calvin vs. Susie storyline, which was in the book ‘Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat’. I may be wrong.

He’s borrowing without permission, but with every intention of returning (after the check clears, that is).

(POSSIBLE SPOILER) I think this is the arc that made Hobbes sympathetic to Susie, and even hoping for smooches.

Famous ventriloquist dummies have actually been “kidnapped” and held for ransom.

Careful, Calvin. Susie could get back at you and steal Hobbes!

A life of crime has to start somewhere …

Calvin never learns; Susie will get the doll back and revenge at the same time. Calvin never learn morality either. Since when is holding something for ransom not stealing? He’s lucky he didn’t go to Catholic school; the nun would bring it up when she found out!

Guess psychosis can be accompanied by criminality.
