Catnip is actually consumed by humans, usually in tea form. Never tried it myself (I hate tea), but it’s supposed to relieve stress, I think. It’s been a while since I read about it, so don’t quote me on the effects.
No idea how it would affect the taste of a fish dish, but it is in the mint family, so cooks somewhere have probably tried it.
