    I’ve Eaten There!!!

You could smell the place from the street! And it was the furthest shop in the shopping center! The Deep Fried Catfish smelled someone cooked an old gym shoe! And the taste was closer to the flotsam part of the local pond! Complete with plenty of mud! I could not understand how they could keep in business!

On a more factual note. I saw a documentary on on Alaska salmon. And after all the salmon had spawned they just died. And all the local bald eagles came down to feast on the dead salmon. I was just as glad that modern TV hasn’t figured out how to transmit SMELL yet. For that river bank must have stunk really, really BAD.

Hall-of-fame pitcher, Catfish Hunter, was the first pitcher since 1915 to win 200 career games by the age of 31. We lost him far too soon. https://vimeo.com/99891982

I love all types of seafood and freshwater fish but, even after all the time I’ve spent in Louisiana and Florida, I cannot really bring myself to like catfish – no matter how it’s cooked! I will eat it, but it definitely is low on my list of fish favorites. Too mushy for me!

Catfish is great when thoroughly cooked (fluffy that is).

I fear that I am somewhat genetically deficient, I’m from Texas and I am not particularly fond of Catfish.
