No wonder Hobbes is stuffed.I like how Hobbes is carrying his tail as he walks. Keeps it from dragging on the ground.

It’s interesting that originally, stuffed Hobbes was taller than Calvin. Later it was only live Hobbes who was. I guess he really did shrink in the wash at some point! (I would’ve loved to have a stuffed animal bigger than me when I was his age!!)

Once my son won a GIANT Scooby Doo at an amusement park, early in the day. I’m real glad we didn’t have to pay for Scooby’s tickets, he took up a whole seat! LOL! Good times, good times!

Calvin is right with Hobbes around meanies will leave him alone.

Pediatricians say that we should let our children play some in the dirt. It helps build up their immunities. Raise someone in a sterile environment, and they will have to always live that way.

Poor Tommy—and poor Hobbes. He should have asked a raccoon to help him wash Tommy before he ate him.

Hobbes is brighter than Calvin. Nasty tasting kid.

Calvin would NEVER have watched Dragon Tales. He would have been tuned into Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man, Voltron, Silverhawks, GI Joe, and all the other action cartoons of the mid-80’s. PBS programming is to sickeningly sweet for him. Hobbes would probably watch a lot of it though.

Wasn’t there a song about tommy chesnutt, “Tommy Chesnutt says I love you…” And a another one with a dance to it, Tommy Chesnutt (hit your chest) loves Pat, (pat yourself) but Pat, loves Bob (bob your head). Does this sound familiar to anybody?

Oh and by the way JP Steve, Calvin hasn’t aged a bit, or grown, since the strips beginning and never does throughout it’s 10 year run.

Oops! Sorry! It was the day before that I wasn’t online all day. Every day when I get on my computer, C&H is the absolute first place I go! I always like to go back to the previous days messageboard and look at everyone’s comments that came after mine so that’s what I was responding to. You see, Go Comics? This is why we need to get our “Edit” button capabilities back!!!!!

What happened to the art work in the last week or so? It has become so amateurish.
