old m&m. Reminds me of when my dad was transferred to Bitburg AFB in West Germany from 1967-1970. The stars and strips shop was a favorite for all of us military brats. Candy and Comic books. If the clerk was not looking you could check out the naughty books too. Everything was shipped by cargo ships. It took so long they froze the milk so it would last. Half the chocolate arrived old to the point some parts were powdery. We ate it anyway.
