Rat also didn’t miss his diversity and anti-harassment training at the coffee shop; then again, the customers didn’t miss Rat’s harassment and hostile work behavior.

New things I’ve seriously missed this year:

People correctly wearing masks inside stores

Administration support for PPEs, social distancing and use of masks

And an old one: Dancing with my friends.

When I go to the grocery store, I seem to be the only one following those arrows on the floor that are intended to make people walk in one direction; everyone else goes the wrong way and almost brushes against me.

If all those people disappeared, I wouldn’t miss them at all.

Obviously Rat’s an introvert. I don’t like being social either.;-D

Don’t have much bars and restaurants to infest, eh, rat?

Not at all, Rat. And thanks to Covid I didn’t have to go to jury duty due to it being cancelled. And my state can’t pin me with another summons for the next three years :)

Working in the grocery store is just getting weirder. Everyone has an opinion and hate wearing a mask for twenty minutes. Try doing it eight hours a day five days a week.

Add barber shop to the list. Bought cordless clippers, go out in yard with a mirror, #2 guard, 5 minutes to buzz cut. Makes me remember summertime of my youth.

0.03% mortality rate, less than driving a car, and an existing cure for the Cornoa virus family since 2005. Seriously, just how stupid and sheeplike is humanity?

Amazing, isn’t it, how many people equate civility with impingement on their “rights”?

When the store is really empty, I admit, I ignore the floor arrows. I do wear my mask, and honor the arrows when it’s crowded.

I had an eye exam appointment at the end of April, it was postponed. I would be nice to get that done at some point.
