Yeah, when my spouse’s brain needs a restart, it’s time for a nap. Seems to work pretty well.
you’re a big help, Nelson
Right! Back to bed.
“Out of the mouths of babes.”
I have thought our brains act like computers. But I think it is the other way around. Computers act like our brains. Our brains were here first! :-))
Check out Roscoe!
I believe the technical term is rebooting the computer.
Can’t hurt, Opal!
Might not be the brain ….. Could be the volume of clutter in the purse ;-)
If you push the Q-tip in far enough, you CAN reset your brain! (Don’t try this at home.)
That’s kind of what sleep is supposed to do. Time to take a nap, Opal!
Rebooting never hurt anyone….
I’ve started to attach a Tile™ to everything I tend to lose.
I have the same problem every morning…until coffee.
Sit back, close your eyes, clear your mind….zzzzzzzzz. Look for it later.
“I’m tryin’ to think, but nuthin’s happenin’!”
If that purse is anything like my wife’s a mere look or feel is not enough.. time to dump the contents.
Good one kid!!!!
Just kick grandma in the head, Nelson. That’s what works with computers!
That was me last month at CostCo. Could have sworn I put it in my purse. Good thing I had cash with me. Got home and found the checkbook on my desk. I rarely use it so it was an easy mistake.
Rebooooooot!!! That’s what I feel like doing with this morning. It hasn’t started too brilliantly, so far.
Sorry Nelson does not work that well, if did Grandma’s be a lot smarter.
He could be correct. Waking up in the wrong part of the sleep cycle can really throw off cognitive abilities.
If only….
It’s there Opal. On the bottom. Keep looking.
It’s called a nap. Works pretty well.
Hope she can’t find it. It’s very irritating to stand in line at a store behind somebody who pays for their purchase with a check.
Checkbook? Who still writes checks? I have a checkbook but haven’t the slightest idea where it is. Can’t recall the last time I wrote a check.
Just start a new book like I did and the old one will show up sooner or later like mine did.
Don’t we sometimes wish we did have a “reboot” button on our brains
i’m more tired the second time around.
Reboot!
Rebooting with a cup of coffee or tea or a shot, whatever is your favorite.
Yes! Restarting works for me (most of the time).
If I’m ever on life support, unplug me, wait 15 minutes, then plug me back in. See if that works!
