We did an event last year to recreate the Danelaw wedding. I made my 10th century outfit and even my leather shoes; other members made the wooden benches and other objects. The cooks researched and prepared dishes to fit, as did the brewers and cheesemakers- It was a very good event!
@ vldazzle - sounds wonderful, but curious what you had for music? Almost no instruments surviving from period except in pictures, and music notation was pretty rough. I’m guessing Scadian Fylk Songs?
