Being single is the greatest. No nagging wife and no crying baby/babies.

My married friends have college funds, I have large retirement fund.

Hmmm. That’s not funny. Sorry.

Why should they cry? Isn’t being married the same as being with your best friend, which is what the tortoise (is that better?) and bird are? The only problem is that they won’t be able to have little tor-birds, but some people would find that a good thing.

If they were to have offspring, would they be turtledoves? :)

No, I think they would be called ‘turds’

Getting together is not just for procreation, could be just for fun too, if I recall it rightly!

@ MatureCanadian - it is all in your definition of ‘getting together’. Just remember that ‘accidents cause turtledoves’, eh!

Be very very carefull. I used underarm deodorant once, and now “she” makes me use it at least once a week.

That seems like it was an awfully short mating season for such a slow-moving species!
