I continue to receive emails from readers asking if the book offer is over.. It is not.. I have a lot of books left to sell.. So, for the sake of anyone who has missed it, here’s the pitch again..The Endtown mini-comic that I produced for Comicpalooza 2011 is now available to YOU for the offensively low price of $2.50 (price includes s&h, international add $1 for each copy ordered ). Besides sporting a snazzy full color cover (http://tinyurl.com/3uytdhy), it contains an all-new 22 page story that is available nowhere else. And just because I feel like doing it, I’ll sign and personalize (if desired) each and every copy I mail out. Simply pay via PayPal using my email address, aaronneathery@gmail.com, and be sure to include your mailing address. If you can’t pay with PayPal, email me for my snailmail. And, just so you know, I’m completely open to donations. The mouse that lives in my head will thank you. :-)
That dude just needs some warm milk and a nice window to curl up in. Thats the problem, no sunlit windows to curl up in, no wonder the cat folk are going crazy.
No sunlight anywhere, come to think of it. And actually, thinking of the milk (and thus steak) problem, Endtown’s peace must be pretty fragile anyway if everyone has been surviving on beans for years since. There must have been a lot of lucky situations like the preceding one …
Wellp! Looks like Wallys made a new freind in Oscar, and a new Girlfreind in Holly.~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hey Aaron Neathery: Panel 1 – Talk about Stereotypeing, You had to make the Cop IRISH(setter). ☺
Hmm, vehicles… electric? Because really, in that closed an environment, you do NOT want partially-combusted petrol fumes. Also, where would they get the petrol…
Whew! I am so glad this came through on th elap top!On the desk top, it only showed a tiny red ’x" in a tiny box.I was kinda distraught, at the thought of this being a friday without Endtown! Good ending on this arc, Arron! thank you!
I hope that’s not the end of the arc. We still don’t know what was in Wally’s bag that made it so important for him to get it back. We still don’t know why Wally’s so itchy to get back up top, a lot of theories but nothing definitive.
This is one of those moments where someone says “Do you remember that time…?” And everyone laughs at the moment and says “Yeah, I remember” It’s one of those small-smile inducing moments.
nitpicks: 1)After just one or two years, much less the amount of time Endtown has existed, supplies on the surface would have been picked clean. They would have to have developed some farming—- hydroponics and greenhouses—-by now, perhaps hunting the topside monsters for meat— or starve. 2)Confiscating all weapons sounds smart and PC and all— till you reflect that half the citizens could rip the other half apart with their bare teeth claws. Weapons are equalizers: disarming the populace of Endtown just makes most of them someone’s prison bitch…. or prison MEAL. And by the time you had a large enough “authorized” police force to prevent that you’d have armed nearly everyone anyway. 3)Ignoring point 1, there’s no way that teams of 2 or 3 people could carry back enough supplies on their backs to keep Endtown alive. There has to be some sort of vehicle access to Endtown, an elevator or something large enough for large trucks…. a remnant from when Endtown was being excavated and constructed. Those “scavenger teams” have to be little more than a PR campaign—- something to make the Endtowners think the leaders are doing something about the food shortage.

Good tie-up, Aaron. But I still want to know what’s happening with Ally. She was a good egg ’til she ended up back in the bottle.

It seems Wally has learned his lesson and isn’t seeing Endtowners for their disabilities and is seeing them for the people they really are.
