30 or so years ago, I stopped watching most of the music performances. I think the last time I watched one, Ed Sheeran was the musical guest. There aren’t that many groups or singers from the last couple of decades that I enjoy. Since I first switched to satellite service, I recorded everything I want to watch, and now never have to sit through commercials. I always watch the cold open and Weekend Update, and usually the guest monologue, but fast forward through so many unfunny skits these days.

I remember when SNL used to be funny. Seems to have stopped in the mid 1990s. Such an overrated show.

Though I did see the hubbub about Woody Harrelson’s cold open. Seems that he was spot on and people did not like it.
