Most of my drive was two 2-foot wide strips, about 4 feet apart. Very easy to shovel! And my Wife planted low-growing flowers between the strips, so….no mowing!

I just let the sun clear the driveway when there’s any snow, which is rare anymore. The first winter in my house, there was a very heavy snow. I bought a roof rake so I didn’t have to worry about too much snow up there. Since then, we have not had enough snow to even need to use that rake. That turned out to be some very cheap insurance against heavy snow. That rake and the snow shovel are just decorations on the wall in the shed now.

He could just say he used his snowblower on the driveway to clear it. That eliminates the problem of snowblowed/snowblown etc.

On those rare occasions we get significant snow, I shovel. It doesn’t happen often enough to warrant the expense (and storage room) for a snowblower. If I had one, I’d say: I used the snowblower.
