    That’s how these cybercrooks get you! But that’s one of the reasons why they target the older folks and the elderly because they know the older folks aren’t that computer savvy and therefore, very gullible. And unfortunately there’s really no one we can complain to!

    What I’ve been getting lately is “You’re late on your payment! Please update your payment options!” supposedly from Xfinity…they have the logo and everything, but the email address it’s from isn’t right. And when I report it as spam, I just get another one with a different email address from the sender.

    My mom, 88 years old, got scammed in a similar scam. They siphoned 20000 out of her account. They target older generations and people with disabilities. We talked to mom and got her set up, but this same thing happened to 2 church friends.They specifically said not to tell anyone about this, that it would be a tremendous surprise. It’s a technology world and a lot of us aren’t caught up, if you know somebody, teach them and help them,
