I purchased some music last week from a band through its website, and clicked open the “format” menu expecting to find CD and MP3 as the available options. Instead, it was CD and Album. Seemed ironic for a group that was selling its music by e-commerce.

Major bonus points for Pinkish buying a turntable. Maybe there’s hope for him, after all.

Went to a dry cleaners in China town. I saw the sign, “Marty Sheck, Chinese Laundry”.

Intrigued, I went in and met Marty. He was a short Chinese man about mid sixties. I gave him my laundry, he produced a ticket, and I asked him, "So how does a Chinese Man come by the name Marty Sheck?’

He looked at me, and said, when he came to America, he stood in line to be processed. The man in front was asked what his name was, and he announced “Marty Sheck”.

I said, “OK, so that was the guy in front of you, but how did YOU get that name?”

He said, when it was his turn, and the man asked him his name, he said “Sam Ting”
