Oh, this is going to be a nasty fall when Phil moves on… and she’ll probably bounce right back to Ted… apparently, in Connie’s world, there are only two men on the planet…

@WebSpiderSadly, it appears that is all there has been recently. Now why she cannot get out somewhere else and meet a really nice guy, I cannot say.

This might be funny if it weren’t so sad and pathetic.

The really sad thing is that a (gasp) unmarried woman couldn’t then and apparently, still can’t find a decent guy to date, and become involved with someone without the whole world exclaiming tsk, tsk, tsk. That is not to say that either of the slugs she is involved with are “decent,” but it shows how hard it is to find anyone decent, and she is looked down upon for whomever she does choose to date.

Yes, Gretchen and Linz it is sad and pathetic especially recounting it for the 2nd time around- I’m just glad that I’m of an age when I no longer need anyone else to validate me (having raised 4 kids)- One of my sons celebrated 25th Anniv on Sunday.

Susan, his intolerance was a knee-jerk reaction to Lawrence announcing he’s gay, and was gone by the next morning. Greg was actually a great guy. His daughters reacted like typical teen-aged girls whose single Dad suddenly isn’t anymore. Besides, their problem was mostly with the move, for which they blamed Connie. They got over it.
