You guys don’t read much other then funnies do ya? Lynn has said on her site, that he did pay rent – sometimes – and that he did buy other groceries too. Just not often.

Personally, I prefer all the cute, funny comments that are based on the comic strip as it’s drawn. I just think that the “over-the-top” way the Patterson family and those around them are presented is a whole lot funnier that way! Take today’s comic, for example. Which is funnier? Real life brother paying rent sometimes (ho-hum)? Or comic strip brother bringing home the “groceries” for a change. . . which, to him, is nine cases of beer?! I definitely prefer the doofus comic strip brother myself!
