Michael doesn’t have enough room to sleep and Elly doesn’t have enough room to BREATHE!!!

They are going to Vancouver, rabbit hole. Elly’s parents live there.

Looks like me and the missus. I sleep on about 1/3 of a queen size bed and she still would like more room. Maybe just a single in the other room would work.

Is snoring hereditary?

I hope we don’t have to go through this again when they come home!!

Now’s the time to teach him how to share and be considerate of others, especially under trying conditions. He’s old enough.

Looks torturous! I’d almost rather sleep on the floor out in the hall than have to put up with conditions like this!

Sorry, I provided the strip for those who hadn’t already seen it. I had hoped it was a temporary thing and would be online (open for COMMENTS) by now. I’ve written Technical Support, but mine is only one voice.

Did the same thing on our move from Winnipeg to Vancouver, in 1979. Took the VIA rail, and had a sleeper too. The porters convert the 4 seats into a private sleeping space.With privacy curtains. It looked nice, but cramped for 2, especially when one is a 4 year old. , Sheets over vinyl seats are hot.and well I didn’t sleep very well. What ever possessed me to take the train for 2 days and 1 night, when a flight was 3 hours? Maybe I saw it as a learning experience for my boy. The scenery WAS amazing, especially the mountain passes. we made many friends. All in all it was fun.

My 4 year old son and I took the VIA train from Winnipeg to Vancouver in 1979. It was fun but LOOOONG! The sleep space was cramped. The facing seats were pulled out to make a bed. Upper and lower bunks with privacy curtains. It was hot and my son took most of the bed too. And sheets over vinyl made it hot! The scenery was amazing though, especially through the mountains. Still not sure why we didn’t fly. 3hours vs 2days and 1 night. Hmmm.

Pot is not legal in BC. Medical marijuana is sortof. And Vancouver is a beautiful city, it is known for it’s temperate weather, people, and cuisine. Not to mention skiing on the local mountains. Drug Capital indeed!
